Now that the crisis has manifested into a proletarian uprising, the question becomes, at what point do we make available housing to the houseless. If we lived in a just society, those without homes would be provided a home. In our society we have 6-7 times the amount of homes vacant as we do houseless people. Why? Because its profitable for people to hoard properties and withhold homes for little to no use. Profit seeking landlords, and the mega rich real estate magnates, the exploiters of land, want the homeless on the streets. And the police are the enforcers to kick families out of homes for the purpose of profiteering.
