Riots and looting are what's being discussed by liberal media, but the truth of the matter is MLK's quote is still true today as it was 60 years ago.
The working class in Minneapolis, and across the nation and world have been dealing with an unjust cruel capitalistic society for centuries, but the police brutality of black and brown people has reached a fever pitch. It is not right what these "lawmen" are doing to black people, it is not right what ICE is doing to brown immigrants. The cops should be stopped immediately, massive retraining, job cuts, and re-assignment of budgets should occur across police departments nation wide, and ICE should be completely abolished.
We should be protesting, rioting, holding space that these capitalist foot soldiers are trying to drive us from. They force us into oppressive cycles of slave wages, extreme housing prices, little to no access to healthy food and clean water, then they kill us, stepping on our necks in broad daylight. How much more can you stand of this USA? If you're more concerned with the rioting, than you are with the horrible injustices that your government is performing on its own working class people, than you are a part of the problem.
