Trump is back in the public sphere, both as a future presidential candidate and guaranteed jailbait. On March 30, Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, on charges of illegally paying hush money to Stormy Daniles, who Trump had an affair with while running for president.
Despite this charge is good, it doesn’t acknowledge the many corruptions, fraudulent, and human rights violations crimes he committed. His crimes against the citizens of the country are many, but let’s highlight a few.

To start with, the January 6, 2021, riots, when he called on his political supporters and social bases to siege the US Capitol building because he claimed the 2020 election was stolen from him by Joe Biden. The reactionary insurgents that arose had brought on a needless number of crimes, but only a few legal charges were brought against those actors, along with their leaders, such as Trump, who has not been brought up for charges.
Trump also racked up many international law violations and rules to other UN Charter, such as organizing the assassination of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, “the attempted invasion of Venezuela, the backing of the ultra-right coup in Bolivia, the declaration of Jerusalem the capital of Israel, the escalation of sanctions against countries such as Cuba and Venezuela, and the crushing of the aspirations of the people of Palestine, Western Sahara, and Yemen.”
“Trump also oversaw a vast redistribution of wealth to the already ultra-wealthy through the 2017 tax cuts for the rich, which cost the nation at least USD 1.5 trillion. These are public funds that one could argue were effectively stolen from the people of the US, most of whom have difficulty paying weekly expenses. His delayed pandemic response, in which he undermined his own government’s efforts to contain the virus, made the United States the leader in COVID-19 deaths globally, a title the nation still holds.”

These only scratch the surface of Trump’s crimes against the citizens of the country and world, the very fact that these charges have not been brought up against him are concerning. Unsurprisingly, the state does not seek to criminalize their own political actors, even though their violations are overt. Still, will see how it rolls out with just this charge alone.
