So much comes with the ownership of land, right to build homes, factories, and buildings, charge rent, produce goods, conduct business, gather materials from. Why is just the rich get to own land?

During the 'twenties a miner's leader clashed with an aristocrat coal-owner on the issue of nationalization.
"Why should the pits belong to you? Where did you get the land from in the first place?"
"I inherited it from my father."
"And where did he get it from?"
"He inherited it from his father."
"And before that?"
"He was the seventeenth Earl. The estate originally belonged to the first Earl."
"And how did he get it?"
"He fought for it in the War of the Roses."
"Right—then we'll fight you for it!"—Greg Benton and Graham Loomes. Big Red Joke Book. Two Continents Pub. Group, 1976.

As the rich squeeze us more and more, and hoard land and resources, ask yourself "Is it time to fight for our rights to live a reasonable life?"

Land should be for the people
